The CZ 457 American rifle is a bolt action rifle of fine engineering. The heart of the gun fires a dependable wood stock. The 24.8 inch barrel allows for superior velocity and long range accuracy. This rifle also features the 1-in-16 rate of twist along with a 5 round magazine. CZ removed almost an inch of length from the action and slab sided it to reduce its footprint and weight. The stamped bottom metal of the 455 is gone, swapped for a two piece setup. To make scope mount fit easier CZ changed to a 60 degree rotation instead of 90 degrees, allowing bell diameters with lower ring heights. The 457 now features a trigger adjustable for weight, creep and overtravel. With the exact same swappable barrel and stock system as the 455 and the same polymer magazine system, the 457 is the best rimfire platform CZ has ever fielded.
